All in the Name of Research...

I love what I do. I love writing romance, and I especially love doing research for my books. For example, when I wrote Flyboy, I got to interview two super-cute Super Hornet pilots, and was treated to a personal tour of their fighter jet. I got to watch as they suited up, and got a detailed explanation of all the gadgets and gizmos they carry on their survival vests. I even received an invitation to take a spin in the fighter jet simulator out at Lemoore Naval Air Station. Very, very cool.
