Bio

Hi, I'm Sam. :) I live in Syracuse, New York with my handsome devil of a husband (who designed this website -- didn't he do a great job?) and our pets. I've been writing for Harlequin Blaze since 2004.

A few things about me: I love my family, my friends, animals, television, baseball, reading, quilting, and books. Oh, and chocolate. And food in general, and cooking most of the time.

I dislike violence and cruelty, war, high gas prices, the crappy movies that seem to keep coming out of Hollywood no matter how much money they spend, and brussel sprouts. (sorry if I offended anyone on the vegetable platform).

I used to teach writing at Syracuse University before I got my masters in Environmental Geography (which I'd just finished when I sold my first book and decided to become a full time writer -- life has interesting twists and turns, doesn't it?). So I'm into the environment and nature, and a percentage of the money I make from my books is donated to various environmental and animal welfare organizations. So when you buy my books, you're helping protect the world. Cool, huh? ;)

I feel extraordinarily lucky to be able to do this for a living, and I really look forward to getting to know people here at Exploding Cigars.
